I had dinner at Ella’s last evening & found it to be a great experience. I order the Beef Tallow Fries to start; which were amazing! For my entree, I ordered the Fresh Mozzarella Pizza, which came out quickly. It was also delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant as each table had lit tea light candles. My server, Jordan, was very nice and attentive. The parking lot was full, but there’s parking available at the farm stand next door.
Once again a reminder not to go out on holidays. $75 pp for 3 course meal on new years. The meal was horrible. Soup was cold. Duck was chewey, tiny gamey and not crisp like I reguested. Carrot cake was dry and tasteless and while leaving noticed other tables leaving their cake behind. Too bad as I have had good meals here before. My god what a disappointment for all of us.
New Year's Eve Bummer! 3-course menu at $75 plus $25 wine pairing. Soup or Salad, no bread. Scallops (3 small), or Duck breast (tiny and under cooked), or Wagyu beef (didn't have). No veggie or starch, so more like an appetizer than main course. Dessert, carrot cake (cold and very dry) or cannoli (frozen). Both meals were a disappointment, which makes me sad as I have had "to die for" meals at Ella's. Won't do this again, not worth the price.
This restaurant is phenomenal! It has something for everyone and never disappoints! The open kitchen is fun to watch and the service is always on point! We love the seasonal menu changes and the consistent amazing food and drinks!!
Service and food were superb. The menu had varied food items with their own special twist of non traditional pairings. The Wood fired pizzas were phenomenal and the open view to the kitchen was a plus. Restaurant is cozy and bustling not recommended for a romantic dinner on a busy night.
We had a truly great experience with Ella's pizza truck. We hired them to bring the wood-fired pizza truck to Naukabout brewery to feed guests at our welcome drinks/dinner party the night before our wedding. They were on time, guests were RAVING about the pizza, and the caesar salad, and these were literally some of THE nicest vendors we worked with our entire wedding. The guys working the pizza truck were SWEET HEARTS. They kept the pizza coming and even made sure my husband and I got food (which we otherwise would not have). Food was really incredible- so glad I got to eat!
Ellis is in an unassuming building next to the highway, and the fact the parking lot had only one space left should have been our first clue. Inside it is comfortable, a little crowded, a little noisy, with an open chef's kitchen. And the food is absolutely SUPERB! The flavor combinations are intricate, delicate, complex, and very appealing. The serving staff is efficient and polite the front of house is friendly and the bartender is skilled. This is now one of our top choices for dining out, and we take all our friends.
Great little spot with unique menu. Jordan was an excellent waitress, friendly and thoughtful. The food was amazing. We had wings & octopus to start, gnocchi cacio e Pepe and pork chop - all were amazing. Also had the chocolate sticky pudding & donut dessert - all melted in your mouth. Wine selection was excellent. Five stars all around.
